MV Solitaire equipped with Boll & Kirch Filters
Boll & Kirch fuel and lube oil filters are mounted on the eight Wärtsilä engines. These filters are due for replacement after 25 years of loyal service. A team of Allseas and Lubrafil specialists held months of intensive consultations to find the right filtration solution for the main engines of the Solitaire.
The old installed filters are being replaced by an entirely new generation of Boll & Kirch products. 6.21.1 automatic bypass filters will be mounted on the fuel modules. The Wärtsilä engines will also be equipped with new, fully-developed 6.46.07 lube oil filters. The Solitaire will therefore once again be assured of a clean oil and fuel supply in the decades to come.
