Tata Steel, servicing vacuumband filter systems

Lubrafil is also servicing vacuumband filter systems at Tata Steel. These are located in various places on the site and are usually used as bandpass filter for rotating grinding machines or lathes. They filter the grinding water, enabling milling waste to be removed as compressed waste.

The system involved here is used extremely intensively and 24/7, and Lubrafil services this regularly. In consultation with the client, we have now established a structure in which we first carry out all kinds of preventative measurements and checks for a full day. We translate this into servicing recommendations, which often take place within two months of the inspection.
