Tata Dolomite brickworks

        

The dolomite brickworks. A specialised part of Tata that uses a filter cabinet to filter strong odours, using a Purafil brand system. Cartridges that remain in operation for several months can become saturated. In the event of saturation, the strong odour is no longer sufficiently captured and the environment will literally start to ‘stink’. Provincial government regulations mean that production must then be shut down until the filters have been changed; a task that we have now implemented for the first time together with the Dutch importer. Lubrafil fulfilled the role of VCA** certificated main contractor and was responsible for the project. The task only took a few hours but had an immediate result that you could “smell”.
