Malfunction, Boll & Kirch 6.62DN40

A German shipping company asked us to carry out maintenance on a Norwegian cargo vessel that was experiencing problems en route to Rotterdam. The Boll & Kirch filter type 6.62DN40 was not functioning correctly. However, when the Lubrafil engineer visited, it appeared that there were no problems, or that these had already been resolved. Following consultation, we decided to test the filter functions to be certain that the vessel could continue its journey without problem. The photo demonstrates that filters are not always located in the best, and by that we mean spacious, places on board. But with the experience and literal flexibility of the Lubrafil engineers we were able to check everything carefully.
